The first time I went to America, I overloaded on peanut butter cups— I even introduced again half a suitcase for all my mates again dwelling to attempt! I form of want I hadn’t, as they're tremendous easy to make and this more healthy model tastes simply pretty much as good as its inspiration.
PEANUT BUTTER PROTEIN CUPS
8 giant cups, 16 small cups
half-hour, plus extra time to agency up between steps
1/2 cup drippy peanut butter (can substitute with one other nut butter)
2 scoops vanilla protein powder (can substitute with 1/4 cup peanut flour)
1/4 cup milk of selection
2/3 cup chocolate chips of selection
1 teaspoon coconut oil
Line an 8-count muffin tray with muffin liners and set it apart.
In a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop, soften the chocolate chips along with the coconut oil. Distribute three-quarters of the chocolate combination evenly among the many muffin tins, scraping the edges. Refrigerate for 10 to twenty minutes, till the chocolate hardens.
In a separate bowl, mix the peanut butter and protein powder till a crumbly combination stays. Using a tablespoon at a time, add your milk of selection till a really thick batter is shaped.
Remove the muffin tray from the fridge and make sure the chocolate has firmed up. Divide the peanut butter combination evenly among the many muffin tins. Reheat the remaining chocolate and canopy every of the cups.
Refrigerate till the cups are agency.
• You can swap out the protein powder for peanut flour.
• Feel free so as to add some sweetener to the filling (my protein powder was sweetened).
• Use sugar-free baking chips.
