These apple oatmeal bars are for the crunchy leaves and crisp climate of fall. Don’t you begin craving oatmeal when it’s a must to rake your garden?

I’ve a brand new flower mattress so I used to be on the market with a brand new rake – attempting to not destroy the mattress as I scoop up all of the leaves. This time of 12 months it’s a Sisyphean activity however I don’t quit.

These bars are nice you probably have some apples hanging round in your own home. I’ve been apple choosing twice already (a terrific outside exercise) and making all the pieces apple.

I really like the apple orchard. You can discover me beneath the bushes sampling all of the totally different forms of apples. Just once I assume I’ve my favourite – I modify it.

I take advantage of the parchment paper so I can simply elevate them out of the pan. I’ve kind of fallen in love with parchment paper. It makes life really easy! I’ve had a lot much less scrubbing to do since I began utilizing it.

The apple oatmeal bars aren’t actually crunchy. They are like a chewy granola bar due to the apples and the egg. I discover these a pleasant change. If you need them to be sweeter, add 1/2 cup of raisins if you add the apples.

Do you make any bars with apples? What do you make?
