INCREDIBLE! Rebecca Perkovic has misplaced 38kg in simply 13 months by following the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge.

“I am much happier and healthier. I am more confident and comfortable in my body. I am excited to get new clothes and not wear the same old thing for years on end,” she says. “I am enjoying life again.”

Rebecca says: “This final 13 months with The Healthy Mummy has been life altering for me. I used to be caught in a rut, I used to be getting larger by the day. I used to be struggling to maintain up with my kids, particularly my 1 yr previous on the time.

“I hated bending down to pick up toys as my back and legs hurt and getting down and up off the floor was a real struggle. I thought this was it for me, I would be overweight til the end.”

In truth, Rebecca reveals she had been watching The Healthy Mummy from the sidelines for some time.

“On my 42nd birthday I decided to take a leap. I signed up initially for three months then continued,” she says.

“I’ve misplaced 38 kilos and 4/5 costume sizes. I can sustain with all my kids. My eight-year-old asks why I stroll so quick. We get out as a household for walks. I get 10000 steps on a regular basis.

“I exercise from the app 5/6 days every week. I eat my energy. I drink not less than two litres of water a day.

“I work hard and it has payed off. I am still a work in progress but I am stronger, fitter and healthier. Now I feel like I will be around for my children.”

Rebecca wished to make a change to be an excellent function mannequin for her youngsters

The mum-of-four, who relies in Canberra, reveals the explanation she determined to go on a well being kick is as a result of she was unable to play along with her youngsters and wished to be an excellent function mannequin for them.

“I was struggling to bend down, carry him and get down on the floor to play with him, especially the more active he became,” she says.

Amazingly, Rebecca has gone down from a dimension 22 to a dimension 14 and he or she says she’s seen large adjustments in her physique. Her face appears to be like slimmer and he or she even has been informed she appears to be like youthful now!

“I am seeing changes in the shape of my body, other people saw it before I did,” she says.

“I not have a number of chins as my face has modified quite a bit, I look youthful and more healthy. My shoulders, thighs and backside have gotten toned and powerful.

“I look back at photos and can see how far I have come. Mentally it has taken longer to see changes and is a work in progress.”

In truth, Rebecca reveals she has stopped emotional consuming and could be very conscious of what she’s placing into her physique.

“I don’t rely on food when I get upset, angry or depressed anymore, if I feel any of these things, reading the support pages, going for a walk or exercising helps. I now believe in myself and make myself a priority,” she admits.

“I can keep up with my toddler and know I can run to catch him if I need to. I don’t feel tired all the time or want to sit and watch TV. I sleep better and my snoring has subsided. We spend Sundays out as a family trying walking tracks.”

 1)  Make small adjustments, each little bit helps

 2) Be ready – Plan out weekly meals, have water bottles stuffed, set a time to train.

 3) Use the app/assist pages.

“You need to be ready, set your self up for success. I used motivational posters all around my house, especially above my TV,  to get me up and moving,” she says.

“Get the whole family involved, having support helps even if it’s just one person.  Start with small changes,  I started walking, then 10,000 steps a day, then added workouts. Find your why and use it to help you everyday. Believe in yourself, you are worth it!”
