I don’t know who wants to listen to this… however it’s okay to decrease your expectations for your self.
For years, I pushed myself to the max. I needed to be ‘the best’ at all the things I did…
- The greatest at sticking to my food regimen.
- The greatest at hitting PRs within the health club.
- The greatest at seeing scale progress.
And all of it was so tense!
I by no means felt like I used to be adequate and it seems, the one factor I used to be ‘the best’ at, was draining my power, trashing my hormones, feeling depressing, and growing dangerous habits disguised as self-discipline.
I lastly had sufficient and made the choice to make a change.
I made a decision to decrease my expectations of being ‘the best’ and as a substitute give attention to being kinder to my physique. I do know it sounds a bit tacky, however giving myself some grace (and relaxation!) when it got here to my exercise routine made all of the distinction.
What for those who minimize your self some slack?
What for those who centered on imperfect consistency?
What for those who embraced a much less is extra mentality?
Do you suppose you’d be happier?
Do you suppose your hormones could be extra balanced?
Do you suppose you’d have extra power and see higher outcomes?
I say, completely sure!
